Heidelberg is famous for its scenic location on the banks of the Neckar. This booklet describes a large number of exciting routes which all have one thing in common: their proximity to the water.
From 6 different routes, we get to know Heidelberg and its waterways from their most beautiful sides. These routes take us past the Heidelberg Castle, the historic old town and the Philosopher’s Walk where we not only visit well-known sights, but also discover exciting vantage points and fascinating
natural spectacles.
Each map has an overview that not only gives you a starting point but also informs you of the length of the route, its level of difficulty and the altitude you will hike.
