There are several methods used in the water purification process, which include: physical processes, such as filtration, sedimentation, or distillation; biological processes, such as sand filters, active carbon; chemical processes, such as chlorination and the use of ultraviolet light.
These also include all three: Screening and Straining, Coagulation and Flocculation and, lastly, Disinfection.
