Selected by a prestigious jury, winning post cards will be displayed in Heidelberg starting March 22, 2026, with plans for a touring exhibition through collaborative partnerships.

Die Ausschreibung bezieht sich auf Postkarten, die sich auf einen der folgenden Bereiche konzentrieren:
- Where water flows, equality grows
- Einfluss von Wasser auf die Entwicklung der Demokratie
- Nachhaltiges Wassermanagement
- Wasser im öffentlichen Raum
- Wasserknappheit und Wasser als essentielle Ressource
- Wasserkonflikte und Konfliktmanagement
LEGAL ASPECTS
1) The designer gives consent for the worldwide and unrestricted publication of the designs in print and electronic media, as well as their presentation in public spaces, galleries, and museums, as described here.
2) The designer grants the simple right to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and/or reproduce the submitted designs/documents, as well as the right to exhibit the exhibits. Democratia Aqua has the right to transfer these rights to third parties. Democratia Aqua is entitled to commercially exploit the transferred rights for the purpose of financing the award, such as selling the designs as posters, postcard leporello (limited to three years for these two forms of exploitation), and/or in the context of an exhibition catalog.
3) The designer indemnifies Democratia Aqua from all claims by third parties that may arise in connection with the transfer of rights or its exploitation against this Award and guarantees that the submitted works (text and image) are free from third-party rights.
